How we research, review, and stay honest.
You're making a real health decision, and the internet is full of sites that blur the line between advice and advertising. This page is the exact outline of how ours works.
Evidence-based
Every clinical claim is checked against current FDA labeling and peer-reviewed research, and cited.
Independent
Partners can never buy a higher rank. Our order is set by a published scoring rubric — full stop.
Plain-language
We write for real people making a real decision — no jargon, no hype, and no scare tactics.
Privacy-first
We don't collect protected health information on these pages. The matcher stores nothing.
How we research
Every medication page starts from primary sources: the FDA prescribing information, the published Phase III trial data, and peer-reviewed literature. If a figure appears on a page, it traces back to a named source listed there.
Prices are validated against partner pharmacy quotes and dated so you can see how fresh each number is.
How we review
Each article is written and fact-checked by the OralGLPGuide Editorial Team before it publishes, then re-checked as labels and prices change. You will see a “last reviewed” date on every page.
Clinical and pricing content is currently placeholder/illustrative and requires external clinical + legal review before publication.
When a page is reviewed by a licensed clinician, we will label it with the clinician name and credentials, and we will not invent or impersonate reviewers.
As of launch, our content is researched and fact-checked by the editorial team and not yet independently signed off by a licensed clinician. When a page has completed clinician review, it will be explicitly labeled.
How we make money
OralGLPGuide is free to read, and some provider links are affiliate links. If you choose a partner and sign up, we may earn a commission. We do not sell your data or run targeted display ads.
Commissions never change our recommendations. A provider cannot pay for a better rank, a “best overall” badge, or to suppress competitor options.
What we will never do
- Invent or impersonate a medical reviewer, or display credentials we cannot verify.
- Run before-and-after photos or pay for testimonials.
- Present a paid placement as an editorial recommendation.
- Offer medical advice. Our content supports conversations with your clinician.
- Use fear, shame, or fake urgency to push a click.
